The Friendship Sea

I took a walk down by the shore
Looking for peace and quiet...nothing more
I found the kind of contentment I've always known
It has captured my soul, now I call it my own

I walk for miles along the deserted beach
Looking for something my goals couldn't reach
The sea is unpredictable, it never comes to cease
It is very much like me....it is where my problems release

Down by the shore is the only place to be
I love to watch the restlessness of the sea
It helps me to forget my problems for a while
so when I walk away,,,my face wears a smile

The sea is unpredictable, that is a fact that is true
It helps to answer questions of me and you
The sea brings me hope, when the tide rolls in
The game of life,,,seems a game I can't win

I took a walk down by the shore
Finding myself where I couldn't before
I only know the sea is my friend
It goes on forever, there's really no end
